Renew Your Contractor License by August 31st!

If you have a local contractor’s license that is issued by either a city or a county, you need to complete your continuing education requirements and pay the license renewal fee by August 31st. If you have a locally issued license for any of the following, this applies to you:
- General contracting
- Building
- Residential contracting
- Sheet metal
- Roofing
- Air-conditioning
- Mechanical
- Swimming Pool / Spa
- Plumbing
- Underground utility and excavation
- Solar
- Pollutant Storage
- Glass and glazing
The preceding local licenses must still be registered with the state, however, you may only work in the cities / counties that accept that registration. Despite being registered with the state, it is not a state-wide license.
The license fee is $209.00 but the state registration is good for 2 years.
